Statement of Condolence -Pu Do Pau, Vice President of Zomi National Congress

It is with great shock that we learnt about the sudden death of the Pu Do Pau, Vice-President of Zomi National Congress on December 15, 2009. Zomi International Network would like to express our grief on the loss our indispensible leader, and our deepest sympathyand sincere condolence to his wife, children and members of his party Zomi National Congress at large.



Pu Do Pau was a distinguished Zomi leader ,an acknowledged legal expert, and a bussiness man.
He is one of the precious heroes of Zomi. His contribution to the Zomi nation, loyalty, determination to restore the dignity of Zomi will never go away from our memories.

Pu Do Pau possessed the vision, the knowledge and the determination to work towards a democratic society not only for Zomi, but for all the people in Myanmar(Burma). He will be missed very much but shall never be forgotten.

May His Soul Rest in Peace!

Condolences Sent For ZNC Vice President
21 December, 2009: Chin people across the globe expressed their deep condolences and sorrow over the sudden death of Pu Do Pau, Vice-President of ZNC (Zomi National Congress), on 15 December, 2009.

In its statement of condolence, Zomi International Network said of his departure as 'a great shock', adding: "Zomi International Network would like to express our grief on the loss of our indispensible leader and our deepest sympathy and sincere condolence to his wife, children and members of his party Zomi National Congress at large."

The statement released last Tuesday noted Pu Do Pau as a distinguised Zomi leader and praised his loyalty, determination and contribution to his nation.

The condolence letter reads: "He will be missed very much but shall never be forgotten."

Zomi National Congress, founded in 1988, is a political party committed to restoring and establishing democratic government and federal union of Myanmar.
